I'm trying to create Origami jewels : here, the Kawasaki's Rose brooch with leaves.

Using typing paper painted with acrylic.

I really love Kawasaki's Rose. It's Beautiful and romantic.

I really like this model. At one point I had many so many of these roses that I finally made the perfect one, but I think I gave it away already... Anyway, how did you add the leaves?!

They're from a separate piece of paper, I glued them.
Il like this model too. Have you tried Naomiki Sato's rose ? It's a step forward and really beautiful !

No. I don't believe that I have. Iäve only had the chance to look at four origami books so far. I've only seen two rose models total between them. So you didn't bloom the rose? It's hard to get right, but curling the right places makes it look awesome. And where can I find Naomiki's rose? I'd like to try it some time.
